A Typical Day for a Securities Broker

A securities broker's morning is spent in the office talking with the client on the phone. He or she may offer advices to the client and get the client's order. Upon the client's order, the receiving securities broker goes to the area where the security is traded. The securities broker then would seek a dealer or dealers and the best deal for the client. Once the securities broker is satisfied with the deal, he or she may complete the transaction the client's behalf.
